Tao Hongjing and the Divine Farmer’s Classic of Materia Medica

　　After years of research, Tao Hongjing added 365 herbs to the Divine Farmer’s Classic of Materia Medica, with the total number of herbs increasing to 730. This is close to the number of 756 herbs that have currently been found by medical workers through field investigation in Maoshan Mountain.
