From the bottom of the floor pattern, the picture looks like a vase with 3 "sharp arrows" stretching out. Some people say that this is a pot of Rohdea Japonica nourished by “water” from the "kan" (one of the Eight Diagrams) on the lintel of the Mianzhai Taoist Temple. In Taoism, kan diagram bears the meaning of water. It symbolizes that the Taoist Temple may attract an endless stream of pilgrims, and is used to pray for peace, eliminate disasters and ward off evil.
